Chelsea have seemingly been aided in their pursuit of Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly after Manchester City agreed a deal with the Italian club to send their defender Eliaquim Mangala on loan there for the season, according to The Times.

Chelsea are said to be preparing a £30million offer for AC Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli, according to The Guardian.
Blues coach Conte has been keen to bolster his defence all summer and, The Guardian says if Milan can find a replacement for Romagnoli in time, they could be tempted to sell the 21-year-old to Chelsea in the coming week.
Arsenal have entered the race to sign Lyon’s Rachid Ghezzal, who is also wanted by West Ham, the Sun have claimed.
The Gunners are also said to have sent scouts to watch Kostas Manolas in action for Roma in their Champions League tie with Porto on Tuesday, the Mail have claimed.
The Greece international is a defender, a position Arsene Wenger is desperate to strengthen after injuries to Per Mertesacker and Gabriel.
